Out of Despair

• Out of Despair focuses on violent, suicidal, and drug-induced deaths and near-miss cases of young people under 30.
• Multiple data sources, such as linked registers, qualitative interviews, mini-ethnographies, and online discussions will be utilized.
• The project is funded by The Strategic Research Council (SRC) in the Academy of Finland.

• Finnish Quality of Psychosis Care Register is a part of National quality registers in healthcare and socialservices in Finland, hosted by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL)

The Finnish SUPER study

• The Finnish SUPER study on genetic mechanisms of psychotic disorders is a part of the international Stanley Global Neuropsychiatric Genomics Initiative.
• We have collected a sample of over 10,500 individuals with a history of diagnosed psychotic disorders. Studies of the genetics and fenotypes are on progress.
